#2023-347453/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

On 12-3-2023, at 02:51hrs, patrol responded to a report of a burglary in the 5400 block of California Avenue Southwest. Police were advised that a silver KIA struck a building and occupants left in a unknown black sedan. Upon arrival, officers found an unreported stolen (silver KIA) had been used to ram through the front of the business, causing significant damage. Suspects stole unknown property before leaving. The suspects and or suspect vehicle were not located at the time of the incident. 

#2023-347632/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 09:46hrs, officers responded to a residence for a report of an arson near the intersection of Bagley Avenue North and North 143rd Street. Through their investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest the homeowner for arson, and he was taken into custody. SFD and Fire Marshall 5 responded to the scene to assist.

#2023-347914/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 15:29hrs, SPD was dispatched to a reported fight and assault with a knife inside of an apartment complex. Police were able to hail out all six occupants. Officers determined that one of the subjects threatened to kill and further assaulted another with a knife, resulting in minor lacerations. Upon the suspect’s arrest, he spat and kicked at officers. The suspect was then transported and booked for numerous felony charges to KCJ via AMR.

#2023-347838/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 18:30hrs, police received a 911 call reporting a robbery that occurred on 12-2-2023. The victim was on a walk when the suspect vehicle passed by and then came to an abrupt stop. It was reported two males wearing masks occupied this vehicle. One male exited from a passenger door, holding a pistol and pointed it at the victim. This male suspect demanded the victim’s personal property. The victim turned them over to the suspect but the suspect then returned them after the driver suspect said the items could be tracked. The suspects then left the area in their vehicle.
