Seattle Police Gun Violence Reduction Unit are investigating a shooting that occurred in the SODO neighborhood that left two men seriously injured.
Shortly after 3:30 a.m., 911 received reports from one of two victims while they were en route to the hospital. The man stated that he was shot in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue South. The 20-year-old and 23-year-old males arrived at Virgina Mason Hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police arrived at Virginia Mason and located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The men were immediately transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Officers arrived and secured the scene in the 1700 block of 4th Avenue South. Seattle Gun Violence Unit Detectives responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting. No suspects have been identified.
