#2024-000947/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0045 hours, a 911 call came in reporting a vehicle had collided into numerous objects after driving on the wrong side of the road. Another caller reported that there was a small child inside the vehicle. Patrol and SFD responded to the scene. SFD used their tools to extricate the female driver. The small child was found to be in a car seat with minor injuries. Both the female driver and child were transported to HMC for treatment. Female driver was arrested for investigation of Felony DUI and reckless endangerment.
#2024-001315/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1150 hours East Precinct Officers were effecting an arrest in the area of 20 Ave S and S Jackson St when another subject exited a nearby store observing the arrest and began obstructing the arrest by pushing officers. The officers told the suspect multiple times to get back. The suspect pulled on one of the officer’s arms causing a minor abrasion. Officers called for backup and were able to take both suspects into custody without further incident. The suspect was booked into King County Jail for assault in the third degree and obstruction.
