#2024-012336/West Precinct/Third Watch:
On 1-14-2024, at 02:32hrs, the victim and suspect engaged in a physical fight. During the fight, the suspect and victim fell to the ground and the victim was knocked unconscious. Suspect proceeded to assault the victim before fleeing with an unknown female in a newer black Cadillac Escalade driven by a third person. The victim was transported to HMC via Medic One for further treatment of her serious injuries.
#2024-012577/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 10:44hrs, two subjects were in the woods West of the 4500 block of West Marginal Way Southwest, when they found human remains. Officers responded and contacted the medical examiner. The ME took responsibility of the deceased and will determine cause and manner of death.
#2024-13012/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 20:24hrs, Southwest Patrol responded to multiple calls of gunfire heard in the area of 2200 block of Fairmount Avenue Southwest. Officers conducted a search and located evidence of a shooting. Officers photographed and processed the scene for evidence. No reports of injured subjects and or damage to property.
