#2024-037381/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1939 hours, an open line call to 911 came in where panicked people could be heard in the background indicating that someone had just been shot. One of those people drove the GSW victim to the UW Medical Center where officers contacted the victim while the primary scene was located and secured. This appears to be an accidental discharge inside of the small apartment where several friends were hanging out. Injuries to the victim, at this time, appear to be non-life threatening. 

#2024-038077/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2013 hours, a victim sold some furniture to the suspect’s boyfriend. The Victim delivered the furniture to the address and then the purchaser of the furniture began complaining about the state of the furniture after the delivery. The suspect emerged from the house with a gun and pointed it in the air and fired a single shot before pointed the gun at the victim and demanding the return of the $200 that the victim had just been paid. The victim returned the money and then fled and called 911. Officers arrived, set up containment and were able to call several people from the house, leaving the suspect and another un-involved party in the house that were refusing to come out. Officers got a signed search warrant for the suspect and the residence. The suspect and un-involved party gave up and exited the home without incident. Officers served the search warrant on the house. The Suspect was booked into KCJ for Robbery.

#2024-038126/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2122 hours, officers responded to the area of 31st AVE SW/Sylvan WY SW to a report of shots. Upon arrival officers located a victim who advised that his vehicle had been struck by gunfire. Officers recovered a slug from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The victim could not tell for sure where the gunfire had come from. Officers located a spent shell casing in the intersection and canvassed for video with negative result. GVRU notified. The scene was processed by patrol.

#2024-038210/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2339 hours, officers responded to a burglary at a residence in the 10200 block of 31st AVE SW. Officers found obvious signs of forced entry and cleared the house. Inside, the suspects appeared to have stolen firearms and ammunition from a weapon safe.  Police were advised 4-5 subjects entered the residence and left prior to officer arrival in multiple vehicles.
