Male in Critical Condition After Shooting in Belltown

Seattle Police Department Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives are investigating a shooting that left a male critically injured Friday evening in Belltown.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m., 911 received reports of male shot in the 2200 block of Third Avenue. Officers arrived and located a male with a gunshot wound. The 35-year-old victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Police processed the scene for evidence and are working to determine the exact circumstances leading up to the shooting. No suspects have been identified. Gun Violence Reduction Unit Detectives responded to the scene and will be leading the investigation.
