Seattle police arrested a man and recovered two weapons and ammo after they were called to the scene of a domestic violence assault on March 26.
Officers responded near South Cloverdale Street and First Avenue South in the South Park neighborhood at about 5:54 a.m.
They approached an RV trailer close to an encampment and talked with a woman who told police a man shot a gun at her narrowly missing her head. It’s unclear what led up to the fight and gunfire.
The woman was not hurt.
After several calls for others to come out of the RV, Seattle police took the suspect into custody. He is lawfully prohibited from having any guns. He was arrested for domestic violence assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Seattle police recovered an AR-15 without a serial number, a bow gun, arrow and ammunition.
The suspect was booked in the King County Jail.
