#2024-110001/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1137 hrs., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of S. Henderson for a report of shots fired. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle prior to officers’ arrival. There were no injuries. The shell casings were collected and submitted to evidence. An area check for the suspect was negative.
#2024-110001/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1744 hours, approximately 100-150 people were demonstrating at 3 AV and Madison ST. They stood in the road blocking traffic. They remained for a period of time blocking traffic. Eventually they dispersed on their own. After they left the street, Officers observed they had damaged property by painting something in the street. SDOT was notified of the damage to the road.
#2024-110778/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0655 hours, while on Directed Patrol Patrol Officers observed a suspect selling narcotics in front of a school. K9 Officers and Patrol Officers arrested the suspect for dealing drugs. The suspect was booked into KC Jail for VUCSA intent to distribute. A small amount of heroin and cash were recovered and submitted into evidence.
