#2024-117614/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0432 hours, officers responded to a business in the 7200 blk of E Green Lake Dr N for an open door. The door appeared to have been pried off, and a metal cable was found partially inside the business that was used to drag out a safe containing money. The cable broke an awning of the business in the process. Evidence of the burglary was provided by the owner. The owner said a similar burglary occurred at another business he owns in Lake Forest Park.
#2024-118050/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 1404 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a male stabbed. Officers arrived and located the victim; he had a puncture wound to his left forearm. The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect, other than he was in a verbal disturbance with the suspect prior to being stabbed. Police returned to the scene but were unable to locate any video evidence. The Victim was treated at the scene and declined any further medical assistance.
#2024-118157/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2127 hours, patrol officers responded to 9000 Henderson Pl SW to a report of shots heard in the public park entrance. Officers located shell casings in the driveway at the south entrance of the park. A witness described a mid 2000’s white Honda as being involved as the suspect vehicle occupied by four individuals. It was reported that the vehicle entered the parking lot, and the front passenger exited the vehicle. This passenger then fired towards the tree line of the park, before fleeing in the vehicle. No victims or property damage was found during an extensive area check. GVRU was notified of the incident.
