SPD Assists with Multi-Agency Operation,12 Arrested, 53 Firearms and More Than 16,000 Fentanyl Pills Seized

Over the last several months, Seattle Police detectives played an integral role in identifying a large supplier of narcotics in the region. Working with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, detectives helped develop the evidence needed to indict several suspects for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.

On May 14, twelve suspects were arrested for their involvement in the drug-trafficking operation. More than 14,000 fentanyl pills, 12 kilograms of methamphetamine, a half-kilogram of cocaine and 42 firearms were recovered.

Over the course of the operation, law enforcement recovered the following:

  • 13,644.4 grams of methamphetamine
  • 1,507.7 grams of cocaine
  • 16,100 pills Fentanyl pills
  • 1,246.4 grams of Fentanyl powder
  • 27,691 grams of marijuana
  • 37.8 grams of OxyContin
  • 255 grams of Xanax
  • 53 firearms

All of the suspects are in federal custody, and the case will be prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office.

These arrests highlight the continuing cooperation between the Seattle Police Department and its federal law enforcement partners to interdict illegal narcotics in our community.
