#2024-203491/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0043 hours, officers were dispatched to a fight at a 7-11 in Boy sector. Victim stated to officers that a group of young men have come to the store a total of four times. The suspects have thrown eggs at the windows, thrown a rock through a window, assaulted him, and sprayed pepper-spray into the store. The final time the suspects came to the store, they called the victim racial slurs as they assaulted him. The victim stated he feels that the suspects targeted him and damaged store property because of his and the store owner’s ethnicity. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspects. 213 Notified.
#2024-203654/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0729 hours, while in the area of N 109th St and Aurora Ave N on a traffic stop, a traffic unit was flagged down by a local business owner for bullet damage to his business. The business owner related that approximately a week prior, on 7/16/24 at 2300 hours, several people were fighting in the parking lot of the business to the south. The business owner heard 6-8 shots, and the next day found a bullet had broken the outer pane of their window. Spent cartridge collected. GVRU notified.
#2024-203707/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0834 hours, North Pct officers responded to a local DESC building for the report of a missing resident. While the primary officer investigated the initial missing person, he was notified multiple times of several more missing residents, ultimately totaling 6 missing adults. It is unknown if the cases are related at this time.
#2024-204362/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1930 hours West Pct officers responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 400 block of 2 Ave Et S. Arriving officers learned the suspect entered the store armed with a pistol and ordered the store employee to the back of the store. The suspect then forced open the cash register and took an unknown amount of money and product before fleeing the scene. The Latent Print Unit and Robbery Detectives responded to process the scene.
#2024-204535/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2310 hours, Officers responded to a report of an assault. Call remarks updated that one male was knocked out by another male and remained unconscious and was bleeding heavily from the head. Officers arrived and provided medical aid until SFD arrived. After speaking to on scene witnesses, an area check was performed for the suspect with negative results. The victim was transported to HMC with life threatening injuries by SFD.
