#2024-225377/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0423 hours, Officers responded to a delayed report of a robbery at gunpoint in the parking lot of Gas Works Park. Officers contacted the victims who reported that while asleep in their vehicle they were woken up by two suspects armed with a handgun who demanded car keys, a phone, and a purse. The suspects fled in a vehicle and were not located.
#2024-226267/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2156 hours, called 911 stating that pointed a firearm at her and threatened to shoot her. Officer arrived on scene and located the suspect hiding in the backseat of a pickup truck that was attempting to leave the scene. The pickup was stopped, and the driver and suspect were detained. The driver provided a signed consent to search for the vehicle, and a handgun with an extended magazine, rifle plate armor, a scale, and large amounts of narcotics and cash were located. Suspect, who was a convicted felon, was booked for felony harassment, violation of firearms act, and possession with intent to distribute.
#2024-226188/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2012 hours, patrol responded to reported property damage, the suspect was one on arrival (GOA). The reporting party (RP) stated that they confronted an unknown trespasser on their property who responded by threatening to fight the RP and calling the RP bias and derogatory names regarding their sexual orientation. The RP retreated into their home to avoid further confrontation. The suspect caused damage to their patio furniture and left the area. However, about 20 mins later the suspect returned and spit into the caller’s home through an open window. The RP fears the suspect will return and believes that the incident took place due to their perceived sexual orientation. A patrol Sgt responded to the scene. 243 was notified. An alert email was sent to the requisite parties.
