#2024-239023/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1240 hours, responded to a 911 call of a resident of an apartment complex assaulting multiple residents and stole headphone from one. Upon officers arriving, they were directed by staff to the suspects location. Officers located the suspect in the lobby. The suspect was immediately hostile and uncooperative. The suspect made threats to assault officers if they approached her. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. No officers were injured. Suspect declined at KCJ. Suspect is at HMC with a hospital guard.
#2024-239381/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2008 hours, several callers reported shots fired in the area of South McClellan Street/29th Avenue South. Two vehicles were said to be involved. The vehicle shooting was described as a dark sedan that had the passenger shooting out of the window. The vehicle being shot at was a white Camry. No injuries are known at this time. There was property damage to one vehicle that had bullet holes in the driver’s side fender and hood. Shell casings and bullet fragments were recovered from the scene. Police processed the scene. GVRU and 233 were notified.
