#2024-263182/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0055 hours, officers were dispatched to 2700 block of 6th Place South to investigate an in-progress burglary. The caller stated two males broke into the locked, gated property and unlawfully entered an RV that is used by employees of the business. Police set up containment, contacted the two burglars and placed them in custody without incident. One of the suspects burglarized another business about an hour prior to this burglary. The other ran out on a tab at Dennys approximately two hours prior to this burglary. Both suspects were later booked into King County Jail for Burglary and unrelated warrants.
#2024-263190/East Precinct/Third Watch
At 0139 hours, officers contacted a large group of approximately 20-25 individuals congregating in a park in the 1200 block of South King Street. Present at the park is signage indicating park hours (0400-2330), therefore anyone loitering in the park was committing trespass. The individuals were detained, and among them 4 were arrested on warrants. One of the suspects that was arrested was also found to be in possession of a firearm.
#2024-263221/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch
At 0252 hours, officers responded to shooting in the 8400 block of 1st Avenue South. A caller advised that they had been the target of this shooting and had left the area for their safety. The victim pulling up at an intersection behind a black sedan and white SUV, both occupied at least 3-4 times. These vehicles began to drive slowly in a manner that concerned the victim, and he slowed his pace to allow space from the two vehicles who appeared to be travelling together. The two vehicles came to a stop in the middle of the roadway and an occupant from one of the vehicles pointed a gun at the victim in his vehicle and opened fire. Both vehicles fled southbound, and the victim lost sight of them. Police secured the scene and shell casings. At the time of this SIR the victim was not injured and could find no damage to his vehicle. GVRU was notified.
#2024-263273/North Precinct/First Watch
At 0500 hours, officers responded to a convenience store in the area of North Northgate Way and Meridian Avenue North for an armed robbery. Two males entered the store and leapt the counter while the cashier was in the back. As the cashier came to the front, one of the males drew a handgun and pointed it at him. The males then smashed the cash drawers on the floor, took the money, and fled in a vehicle Northbound.
#2024-263937/East Precinct/Second Watch
At 1730 hours, officers were dispatched to a missing child call. The child’s sibling had lost contact with his brother and could not locate him for approximately an hour. Police with the assistance of Community Service Officers and CARE searched the area attempting to locate the child, including his home address and a nearby convenient store. The child was located arriving back at his residence unharmed.

At 1500 hours, West Precinct 3rd Watch officers conducted Pike / Pine emphasis on bicycles which yielded; 3 VUCSA PWI bookings, 1 LEAD referral and 1 I&R. Money, Fentanyl, crack, Heroin and meth were all recovered and submitted into evidence.
#2024-264220/West Precinct/Third Watch
At 2230, officers were dispatched to a service call in the city of Tukwila, for a report of a man being carjacked on “Rainier Ave S”. SPD took over the investigation from TPD. The victim told officers he was stopped by a female in the roadway who was accompanied by a male. They asked the victim to take them to a market located at Rainier Ave S and S Othello. When the man went into the store and returned to his car the male suspect was now sitting in the driver’s seat and ordered the man to take money out of the ATM. The suspect drove the victim to a bank located in the 9000 block of Rainier Ave S. and again told the victim to get him money. The suspect then put a gun to the victim and demanded he draw the money from the ATM. The victim complied. They then drove the man to a Chevron located at E Marginal Way S and Boing Access Rd and demanded beer. The male suspect punched the victim in the mouth causing a large laceration to his lip. The store clerk refused to sell the victim beer and when he went to return to the vehicle the suspects fled in the victim’s car. Surrounding agencies were notified along with Portland PD and Oregon State Police. 233 and robbery were notified.
#2024-264181/South Precinct/Third Watch
At 2235 hours, officers were dispatched to the SODO area to investigate a carjacking. Upon arrival the victim stated he was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by a male with tattoos on his face and a female that accompanied him. They demanded the victim’s keys and when he wouldn’t cooperate, they pepper sprayed him, found the keys in the victim’s car, and fled in the car southbound on 1st Ave S. Seattle Fire Department responded and treated the victim for pepper spray exposure. Several attempts were made to locate the victim’s vehicle unsuccessfully. 233, and Robbery were notified, and Officers transported the victim to HMC at his request for further treatment.
