#2024-270447/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0332 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery in the 7300 block of 35 AV NE. The victim advised officers she was pistol-whipped and had her vehicle taken. The suspects left behind a vehicle that had been reported stolen in an armed carjacking roughly 15 minutes prior (24-270440). The victim’s vehicle was soon located in the 6800 block of 62 AV NE by a police LT, who was aware of a string of north end armed robberies over the past few days. Along with the victim’s vehicle from this incident, two additional vehicles suspected to be involved in similar armed robberies were located. All three vehicles were taken the VPR with a hold for robbery.
#2024-271410/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2236 hours, Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a gas station off of MLK Jr Way S. A male suspect entered the store armed with a firearm and took the money out of the cash register. The suspect then left on foot. Officers set up containment and a K9 track was conducted. The suspect was not located. Robbery was notified.
