#2024-280634/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0013 hours, officers responded to the report from a caller stating he stabbed his friend. While Police were in route to the location, call was updated that caller said a friend was deceased, and he was armed with a fully automatic weapon and was ready for a shootout. Officers arrived, formulated a tactical plan, and got containment. Subject was contacted by phone and made several threats to shoot all if approached, as well as he stated to have an explosive device. The suspect eventually agreed to exit the property where he was taken into custody without incident or force. No explosive devices or weapons were located. Police located a fully open door to the apartment and observed a male lying inside the residence not moving or responding to verbal commands. The residence was cleared, and the man was checked under community caretaking and found to be unharmed and heavily intoxicated. The suspect was arrested for Felony Harassment and False Reporting.
#2024-280661/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0011 hours, officers were dispatched to a home invasion call in the Beacon Hill Neighborhood. Police arrived contacted the victim and located casings in the street. The victims reported that two unknown male suspects attempted to force entry into their house, but the victims held the door shut. The suspects then then fired shots at their house and then left in a vehicle. Patrol processed the scene. Robbery was notified.
#2024-280676/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0133 hours, an officer was on a directed patrol at the 2400 BLK of Harbor Ave SW. The officer saw two suspects enter a convenient store and grab the till. The officer interrupted the robbery, and the suspects entered a White Kia SUV. The officer recognized the robbery suspects being the same from the night prior at a store on SW Admiral. The officer initiated a pursuit, and other officers joined. The pursuit continued and was terminated it due to speeds. Later the vehicle was left unoccupied in the East Precinct area, and it was recovered. The vehicle was an unreported stolen vehicle. The SPD Robbery Unit was notified.
#2024-280740/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0500 hours, a suspect walked into an establishment in the 7300 block of 35th Ave NE and displayed a handgun. The suspect emptied the cash register and demanded the employees open the safe. The employees did not have access to the safe. The suspect left the store with cash from the register. An area check for the suspect was unsuccessful.
