#2024-284403/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2158 hours, officers responded to a car dealership for a burglary investigation. Off site security reported 3 suspects in a secure parking lot attempting to steal vehicles. Officers arrived and found the suspects jumping the fence and fleeing the area. A foot pursuit started and officers chased the suspects who jumped in a stolen KIA who then attempted to assault officers with the vehicle by appearing to intentionally ram the patrol car. The victim officer was struck by the vehicle but thankfully not injured. 2 suspects fled in the stolen vehicle and 1 on foot. Outside agency K9 assisted with a track with no success. About 1 1/2 hours later the suspect vehicle pulled next to a West Precinct sergeant flashing cash and brandishing a rifle. A pursuit was started with the suspects ultimately being lost at the I-5 on/off ramps at Spokane St. 223 was notified of the incident. No officers were injured. A bag was recovered during the foot pursuit containing a pistol.

#2024-285151/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1720 hours, the victim was approached by an acquaintance who put pistol to the victim’s head and threatened to shoot him. While taking a report from the victim, officers observed the suspect driving by the scene of the incident. Initial information was that officers had PC for Assault 1st Degree. A pursuit was authorized, and officers attempted to pull the suspect vehicle over. The suspect fled resulting in a pursuit that was subsequently terminated by a supervisor. The case will be forwarded to Homicide for follow-up.

#2024-285293/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1954 hours, Officers responded to the 2800 block of S Columbian Wy for shots fired. Officers located 9-9mm casings in the roadway. No victim or damaged property was located. Officers photographed the scene, submitted evidence and uploaded photos into evidence. GVRU was notified.

#2024-285416/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2308 hours, officers responded to a robbery at a Subway. Three suspects entered the business with guns. One suspect pointed his gun at the employee and demanded the cash from the register. The suspects broke open the tip jar and took the little amount of money that was inside. They then fled to a car parked nearby and fled the scene. The employee was not injured. Robbery was notified.
