#2024-315554/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0128 hours, SW Patrol responded to caller reporting that her house had been shot in the 8100 block of 13 Ave SW. Officers located bulletin damage to two homes and one vehicle. It was clear that one of the homes was intentionally targeted. A search of the area found that no victims were struck by gunfire. Nearby homes had surveillance that showed a shadowy unknown suspect approach on foot and fire from the street. SW Patrol photographed and processed the scene recovering thirty-three 9mm FCC’s. GVRU was notified of the incident and status of the parties involved.

#2024-315543/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0100 hours, officers responded to the AM PM at 10822 Roosevelt Wy NE to reports of a male shot. Officers arrived and located a male with two GSWs and provided medical aid until SFD arrived and transported him to HMC in critical condition. During their investigation, officers discovered the victim was shot after an altercation with two unknown males across the street in a nearby parking lot. No suspects have been identified or located at this time. GVRU responded to assist with processing the scenes. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.

#2024-315260/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 0522 hours, Officers were dispatched to Rainier Playfield for reports of an intoxicated person chasing and throwing things at the RP. Dispatch had received multiple calls about this individual. When Officers arrived, the located and contacted the suspect who was verbally aggressive and uncooperative with officers. Officers maintained their distance from the suspect while attempting to open a dialog with him. The suspect then began to throw items at the officers, most concerning were the broken shards of mirror that could easily seriously injure the Officers or others in the area. Officers recognized that they were directly behind the community center and that there are multiple daycares in the area that walk small children through this area. The suspect was also stating that he was going to kill people and the officers. Officers moved in to take the suspect into custody and one Officer was punched in the face. The suspect was quickly taken into custody and booked into KCJ.

#2024-315604/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 0426 hours, Officers responded to the 4800 block Erskine Way SW. The original call was an alarm at an open business, a convenience store. Four suspects arrived. One stayed outside and the other three entered. One produced a handgun and pointed it at the clerk. The other two took money and tobacco products from the register area. The suspects then fled westbound. An area check yielded negative results. There is video footage of the suspects and latent prints were lifted.

#2024-315651/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0610 hours, a call came into the non-emergency line from a non-local number with the caller claiming he just shot his father and would kill himself. Call taker reported hearing crying and then what sounded like a gunshot followed by silence. Several units responded and it was quickly determined that this was a “swatting” incident. 224 responded/notified.

#2024-315980/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1219 hours Officers responded to the report of a male stabbed. Upon arrival they located the victim who was stabbed seven times, three to the front of his chest and four to his back. Officers rendered aid until Seattle Fire Arrived and continued first aid. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing a checkered hoody last seen heading east bound on S. King St. Medic One transported the victim to Harbor View who was in serious condition. The victim could not initially provide a location where the assault occurred but later provided one. Canine 98 responded to the scene but did not track due to the heavy foot traffic and officers not knowing the location of the assault. The incident was screened with Homicide, 212 and Media were notified. At the time of this SIR the suspect was not located.

#2024-315957/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1257 hours the driver of a vehicle travelling westbound at the intersection of two arterials fired approximately 8 rounds at the passenger compartment of the vehicle in front. It is unknown if there is a connection between the suspect and victims. There were no injuries from the shooting. GVRU was notified and responded to the shooting.

#2024-316392/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 2009 hours Officers responded to a stabbing near 8th Ave S and S Jackson St. Officers located the victim and began rendering aid until the scene was safe for Seattle Fire. Multiple offices began looking for the suspect who was described as a black male, 40 years old, 6’0, 200 pounds, black puffy jacket, green pants, black backpack. A possible suspect was located nearby and detained. Witnesses were brought to the scene but were unsure if Officers had the correct suspect. The person detained had a felony warrant and was booked into King County Jail for his warrant. The victim was stabbed multiple times in the chest, back and hands, he was transported to Harbor View Medical Center in serious condition. 213, homicide and media were notified.

#2024-316497/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2239 hours, officers responded to an assault in the 800 block of S King St, beneath the I-5 Overpass. The victim was located inside their vehicle with a laceration to the hand. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim stated the suspect had approached his vehicle on foot, forcibly opened the driver door and attempted to stab him in the chest. The victim blocked the initial assault with his arm but sustained a cut to the hand and had his cellphone taken. The suspect fled eastbound on foot. Guardian One and KCSO K9 units responded to assist. A track was performed but the suspect was not located. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center via AMR for further medical care. The suspect description on this incident is similar to that of stabbings that occurred near the same location earlier today (24-315980, 24-316392).

#2024-316569/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0101 hours, officers responded to an assault near the intersection of 12 AV S/S Jackson St. The victim was located on the street and was bleeding heavily from the neck. Officers provided aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim was transported to Harborview medical Center via Medic One in serious condition. Given the nature of his injuries, the victim was unable to speak with officers on scene and could not provide a location of the incident or a suspect description. Officers followed a blood trail to a doorway northwest of where the victim was found and used that as a start point for a K9 track. Once again, KCSO aided with a track, but the suspect was not located. This incident follows a recent pattern of stabbings in the area over the past 24 hours.
