#2024-331370/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0154 hours, Alert tones were broadcast reporting that a person threatened to shoot an SFD Fire Marshall investigating a previous fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that he had not been threatened, but that site security had been threatened by a known male while on-site and assisting in fire recovery. The Fire Marshall was flagged down by the victim. Suspect ID is known, photo sent of suspect to responding patrol units. At time of SIR, suspect not located.
#2024-331644/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 1036 hours, At the above date and time, a 911 caller reported hearing 3 gunshots in the area of his home in the 13700 block of 1st Ave NE. Once officers arrived to canvass the area, some of the RP’s neighbors also reported hearing the shots. An SUV and a sedan were seen speeding away from the area after the shots, with the SUV possibly chasing the sedan. State Patrol notified sue to proximity to freeway. No casings or damage were reported/located at this time.
#2024-332222/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2312 hours, Several calls to 911 stating that shots had been heard in the area. Officers responded to the area, and located 37 spend shell casings in the parking lot. A short time later, an individual called from a nearby apartment, stating that their boyfriend had been shot. Officers responded to the apartment, and located a B/M with gunshot wounds to the leg. Victim stated that he had been walking home when he was struck by bullets from an unknown vehicle. Spend shell casings were photographed and collected, and the victim was transported to HMC via AMR with non-life-threatening injuries.
#2024-332148/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2100 hrs East Prct Patrol responded to investigate a 911 call from a Harbor View Medical Center social worker reporting a patient who stated they had been assaulted at about 1400 hours today (11/23/24) near Pike Place Market. The victim said he was walking westbound on Pike St near the closed Hardrock cafe when four males approached and assaulted him while calling him Illegal and telling him to go back to Mexico. One of the males hit the victim in the head with a baseball bat. The victim attempted to defend himself, but lost consciousness. He was later transported to HMC by AMR. The victim states that the suspects are unknown to him and the assault was unprovoked. The victim believes he was attacked solely based on his national origin. The victim sustained serious, but non-life-threatening head injuries. A patrol Sgt responded. Ofcs completed the investigation at HMC and canvased the assault location for evidence and witnesses. 223 was notified. Homicide was notified. A hate crime alert email was sent to the requisite parties.
