#2024-342973/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0129 hours, patrol was dispatched to an armed carjacking in U1. The victim was robbed at gunpoint for her vehicle and assaulted. The victim described four suspects, two of which had firearms. The vehicle had tracking capabilities and within in minutes a King sector unit located the vehicle traveling southbound on 15. Officers pursued the vehicle to Burien, where it crashed out and suspect fled on foot. One handgun was recovered in the vehicle. King county K-9 conducted a track with the assistance of Guardian 1; however, no suspects were located.
#2024-342343/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1204 hours, Second West Patrol responded to a condominium in the 2200 block of Minor Ave for a report of an assault accompanying racially biased remarks. The reporting party told officers that the suspect, a resident there, assaulted him and among other statements, told him to “go back to Mexico.” The victim believed he was assaulted due to the suspect’s perception of his ethnicity. Officers arrested the suspect and booked her into King County Jail for a Hate Crime Offense. There were no injuries. All notifications completed.
