Seattle police officers are investigating after a 26-year-old man was stabbed either in or near Licton Springs Park in North Seattle last night.
At about 9 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 9500 block of Ashworth Avenue North and located a man suffering from a stab wound to his chest. Police and the Seattle Fire Department provided medical treatment on scene, and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The suspect was described as a clean-shaven tall man wearing a gray jacket. He was last seen running northbound on Ashworth Avenue North. Police conducted a K9 search for the suspect but could not locate him. The King County Sheriff’s Department’s Guardian One helicopter also responded to search the area yet were unsuccessful.
