Seattle police detectives are investigating the homicide of a 43-year-old man in the Interbay neighborhood last night.
On December 16th at about 10:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 3400 block of 15th Avenue West.
Police located a man inside a recreational vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. They provided medical aid until the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and continued treatment. SFD transported him to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) in critical, but stable condition.
Police searched for a suspect. No arrests have been made.
Officers cordoned off the area until Detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction, Homicide, and Crime Scene Investigation Unit responded to the scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Despite all lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at HMC this morning. Homicide detectives have been assigned to this case.
