#2024-2151476/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 1000 hours, SPD ICAC conducted a search warrant and arrest operation with the assistance of WA ICAC TF personnel and SPD Patrol. The suspect had a warrant for his arrest, from a previous ICAC case, and was also reoffending. The suspect was arrested for his warrant along with several new charges. Detectives located CSAM at the scene and the suspect admitted to possession, distribution, and production of CSAM. Suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2024-353854/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1300 hours, West Precinct, day bike Officers in collaboration with 3rd west patrol and the SPD narcotics unit conducted a narcotics operation in the Belltown and International Districts. Over a course of 7 hours, this operation yielded 8 arrests for VUCSA delivery, totaling approximately 100g of narcotics, and $1,640 of cash seized from narcotic transactions. #2024-354169/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1924 hours, Officers were dispatched to a large six story apartment building for a fire in a unit. Upon arrival the fire was put out by SFD. The unit was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The resident was not home. Investigation yielded the fire was intentionally set, in fact there were three separate fires set in the small unit. There was a large amount of water damage in the building. Officers continued their investigation and developed PC for the occupant of the apartment. The primary officers were later alerted by radio the original complainant observed the known suspect back at the building. Officer responded, immediately set up containment and were able to locate the suspect and place him in custody without incident. Fire Marshall 5, and ABS responded, the suspect was later booked for Investigation of Arson and unrelated warrants.
