2024-361497/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0333 hours, a complainant called 911 to report hearing 2 shots located at the 6300 BLK of 36 Ave SW. Officers arrived and recovered one shell casing. The shots possibly came from a dark sedan. Officers didn’t locate any property damage.   

2024-361542/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0549 hours, a local bank ATM heat and motion alarm was triggered before the bank lost connection with the ATM and surveillance cameras. When officers arrived, they observed the front of the ATM was damaged. The building manager responded to the scene, and 3 masked males were seen on building surveillance using tools to break into the building and ATM room.  The suspects parked their truck directly in front of the bank, and although there were passersby, no one else called 911 during the burglary. It is unknown how much money was taken at this time.

2024-361526/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 0500 hours, officers responded to investigate shots heard near an apartment building on the 6900 block of Delridge Wy SW. During the investigation, a bystander informed officers that he observed a male standing on the sidewalk, shooting a handgun westerly. The suspect was then seen running northbound on Delridge Wy SW. Officers recovered shell casings and bullet holes were discovered on the outside wall of an apartment unit. No residents were inside of the unit during the shooting. GVRU was notified.

2024-361537/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 0400 hours, numerous burglaries to businesses reported that occurred overnight during Christmas and early this morning in the SODO (O1 and O2) area. The unknown suspect(s) appeared to be taking advantage of the businesses being closed over the holiday. Officers responded and noted that similar M/O and circumstances (no obvious signs of forced entry into business, similar target areas (safes), and electrical cords being damaged for alarm/cameras) occurred at the numerous businesses that were in close proximity to each other and same time frame. No evidence/suspect descriptions were provided by the victim businesses. The unknown suspect(s) appeared to be skilled and familiar with what they were targeting. See events/reports for 24-361537, 24-361541, 24-361583, 24-361585, and 24-361638. GIU was notified.

2024-362125/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2045 hours, officers responded to a report of a shooting in 1200 block of N 107 St. Unknown male fired multiple rounds west towards Aurora Av N and then fled eastbound in a vehicle. Suspect not located. Casings collected and submitted to evidence.

2024-362126/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2045 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at an apartment complex in Lincoln sector. The victim stated to officers that they parked their vehicle next to the suspect vehicle. The suspect then exited his vehicle with a Rifle and pointed it at the two victims. The suspect then demanded money and other property from the victims. The suspect then ordered the victims to drive away from the apartment complex. When the victim drove back to the complex, the suspect vehicle was gone. There was a rifle magazine located in the parking lot, right by where the suspect vehicle was parked. Officers collected the rifle magazine and placed it into evidence. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Robbery unit was notified
