#2025-1814/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0005 hours, SW Patrol responded to a call of shots heard in the South Park area. An initial search did not locate anything. 45 minutes later KCSO was contacted by an involved victim in Burien. The victim narrowed the area to 500 S Henderson St or 500 S Concord St. Officers located a scene at 500 S Trenton St and recovered two .45 FCC’s from the roadway. The victim is a rideshare driver and was dropping off a fare when an unknown vehicle pulled in front of him. Not knowing their intent, he drove around and away from the vehicle. The suspect vehicle followed briefly and fired at the victim striking his vehicle 3 times. The victim was uninjured from the gunfire and fled from the scene. GVRU was notified of the incident.
#2025-1851/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0152 hours, caller interrupted a car-prowl in the 2000 block of 34 Av S. Caller yelled at the suspects to get out of the area. The suspects then fired a volley of shots at the caller. The caller took cover behind a vehicle parked on the street. The suspects got into their vehicle and before speeding off fired another volley of shots at the caller. Caller ran to a residence on 32 Av S and called 911. Officer located the scene in the street in front of 2004 34 Av S. Evidence was photographed and submitted to evidence. A parked vehicle on the street also sustained bullet damage. Incident was screened with 233 and GVRU.
#2025-1874/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0222 hours, South Precinct patrol was dispatched to a robbery at the 76-gas station located at 6600 MLK JR WY S. Officers contacted the victim who stated that he was approached by a group of subjects while he was at the outside counter, waiting to buy cigarettes. A male suspect, out of the group of subjects, that initially approached the victim, produced a knife, and stole approximately $20 in coins and a scratcher ticket from the victim. The suspects then fled the scene in a dark colored sedan, which was later located by patrol in the parking lot of Bank of America. A field show up was conducted and the victim positively identified the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody for investigation of Robbery and booked into KCJ without incident. Incident screened with Robbery.
#2025-1884/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0328 hours, at approximately 0328 hours, south precinct patrol was dispatched to a robbery at a Tobacco Mart located at 5600 block of Rainier AVE S. Officers arrived on scene, the front of the business was smashed in, and different parts of a stolen ATM were scattered in the street leading west bound on S Findlay St. Witnesses on scene described the suspect vehicle as an older model white utility van, occupied by two Asian males. Officers found a possible suspect vehicle and the occupants were detained, with the generous assistance of west and east patrol. A field show up was conducted and witnesses did not positively identify the occupants or the vehicle as the suspects. Incident was screened with Robbery.
#2025-1923/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0526 hours, in the early morning hours victim was on morning walk, when unknown suspect emerged from behind bushes brandishing a knife. The suspect demanded the car keys from the victim. The victim handed over the keys and the suspect proceeded to push the key fob button in attempt to locate vehicle. Victim informed suspect the vehicle was not in the area. Suspect fled on foot. Patrol officers located the suspect. Victim positively identified the suspect. Knife, brass knuckles, and ballistic vest recovered. He was taken into custody without further incident. Suspect was booked as John Doe at KCJ. KCJ fingerprinted the arrested and identified him as a juvenile. Juvenile had warrants and missing person hit (runaway). Arrested was transported to YSC for intake.
#2025-2123South Precinct/First Watch:
At 1050 hours, Traffic Officers responded and set up containment at the 1700 blk of Airport Wy S, in response to a large Hazardous Material Spill response by Seattle Fire Department. An employee working in the warehouse dropped a box full of a hospital grade chemical used in the laboratory for testing. There were no injuries to the person exposed to the chemical. The building was evacuated and cleared by SFD Chemical Response Team. Arson/ Bombs and the PIO were notified. SFD’s PIO handled all media on scene.
#2025-2220/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1230 hours, there was a bank robbery in the Greenwood neighborhood. An adult female suspect produced a note and displayed a firearm magazine to the teller and was handed a small sum of cash. The suspect fled the area prior to officers’ arrival. Patrol and K9 responded to the scene, but the suspect was not located. Robbery was notified and patrol processed the scene.
#2025-362743/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0730, SPD ICAC and CRG conducted a Search Warrant and Arrest operation in the East PCT. This investigation was started by East PCT Patrol officers and who also assisted with the warrant. The suspect was located in the residence along with Child Sexual Abuse Material and 117 Grams of suspected narcotics. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2025-2489/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1800 hours, West Precinct 3rd Watch Officers and SPD Narcotics Detectives conducted a narcotics operation in West Precinct hot spots. The operation yielded two arrests in Belltown and after several foot pursuits five arrests at 12th and Jackson St. The total narcotics recovered was over 265 grams with 685 dollars seized. Two cars were taken to the processing room for warrants. A Federal Probation subject eluded officers in a vehicle after developing PC for narcotics dealing. Working with a Federal Prosecutor his probation will be rescinded based on this incident. All subjects were booked in to King County Jail.
#2025-2647/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2035 hours, Officers were working a High school basketball event and were informed by staff and on-site security that a subject was believed to have entered the premise with a handgun. Security and officers-initiated contact with the subject. Subject lifted the bottom of his jacket and then pushed past security and ran out of the premise. Officers lost sight of the subject running from the area. Security later advised he did not see a firearm before the subject ran. Security video was reviewed and subject description and photo broadcasted. Subject not located. Car23 was on scene.
#2025-2555/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1930 hours, GVRU and CRG monitored the area around Rainier Beach High School before, during, and after a boys’ basketball game between Garfield and Rainier Beach. Intelligence suggested a potential for violence at or near the event. Officers and detectives patrolled the surrounding area, resulting in the arrest of a 14-year-old male who discarded a stolen firearm in a vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. His adult accomplice was also taken into custody for a Department of Corrections violation. The juvenile was booked into YSC on firearm charges, and the adult male was booked into SCORE jail on DOC violations. Additionally, officers assisted with an investigation into an attempt to bring a firearm into the venue. Thanks to proactive enforcement, no major incidents of violence were reported in or around the school before, during, or after the game.
