Three people were arrested during two separate narcotics operations in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District on Jan. 6 and Jan. 11.
Bike Officers Arrest Two Men on Jan. 6
Seattle police bike officers arrested two men during a narcotics operation on Monday, Jan. 6, after observing multiple drug transactions near 12th Avenue and South King Street.
At 11:12 a.m., officers saw the two men selling drugs. Officers moved in and arrested the men. One of the men, a 49-year-old, was found with a loaded 9mm handgun, 0.5 grams of fentanyl powder, and $87 in cash. The man, identified as a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a gun, was booked into King County Jail on charges of narcotics possession and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The second man, 40, was in possession of 18 grams methamphetamine and $504 in cash. He was booked into jail on narcotics charges. The Narcotics Unit is investigating.

Woman Arrested in Separate Operation on Jan. 11
On Saturday, Jan. 11, Seattle police arrested a 56-year-old woman during a narcotics surveillance operation in the Chinatown-International District. Officers observed her conduct several narcotics transactions near the 1200 block of South King Street at around 4:30 p.m.
Officers arrested the woman after she entered a nearby business. Police recovered 8.5 grams of fentanyl powder, including 65 individual bundles, and $1,288 in cash. She was booked into King County Jail on narcotics charges. The Narcotics Unit is investigating.
