#2025-28437/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1854 hours, officers responded to the 2300 block of union St for an argument in an apartment with the mention of a firearm. Upon arriving at the apartment, the officers found 3 occupants who were uncooperative with one of the occupant’s unconscious. Officers called for more units and were unable to render aid while the occupants were uncooperative. The occupants escalated by threatening the officers and getting into a fighting stance. The unconscious person woke up and also attempted to fight the officers. All 3 occupants assaulted the officers. 3 suspects were taken into custody after a fast backup was called. There was a delay in backup arriving due to the lockout building with a key carded elevator. There was a type 2 use of force with an OC and a Taser deployment. The officers received bumps and scrapes which did not require additional medical care. The suspects were booked into KCJ for investigation of assault. Hazard reports were completed for the suspects. 243 as notified.

#2025-28291/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1558 hours, A male suspect in crisis broke into multiple apartments committing multiple burglaries. PC was established and through the investigation it was deemed unsafe to leave the suspect in place as he was randomly breaking into residences and was observed at some point with a knife. Patrol units established a tactical plan, and attempted contact with the suspect. When they attempted verbal commands, the suspect refused to comply. The tactical plan patrol officer established was put in motion and containment set, affirmed by 232. A warrant was requested and signed by a judge. HNT was requested and arrived and attempts to gain compliance failed and SWAT responded. Entry was eventually made, type II force used, and the suspect was safely taken into custody with no injuries. This incident was brought to a peaceful conclusion due to the great foundation set by patrol officers, bringing in HNT and SWAT. The suspect was later booked into KCJ for Investigation of Burglary.

#2024-28468/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1941 hours, the complainant was inside his house located at the 4000 BLK of SW Henderson St. The complainant heard his vehicle being tampered with in his driveway. The complainant looked out and saw his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend tampering with his vehicle. The complainant screamed at the two suspects, and they ran to a Black Mercedes. The male suspect pulled out a gun and shot at the complainant. The suspects then drove away. The complainant didn’t have any injuries. Officers arrived and processed the scene. The suspects weren’t located. GVRU and a PIO was notified about the incident.

#2025-28460/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1932 hours, 1932 hours, officers from the South Precinct responded to an armed robbery in Rainier Beach. Three suspects punched the victim repeatedly and cut his clothing with an undescribed knife. The victim did not sustain any injuries. The suspects fled the scene on foot with the victim’s wallet. The suspects were described as black males ages 19-25. No additional info at this time.

#2025-28220/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1900 hours, the SPD Vice Unit conducted an undercover operation along the Aurora corridor that was hosted by the North Precinct. With the assistance of Detectives from multiple units and Patrol assets from several precincts there were 9 arrests for patronizing a prostitute and prostitution loitering. All of the suspects were successfully booked into KCJ. The City’s Chief Criminal Prosecutor was at the operation and is personally going to file all 9 cases.

#2025-341485/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 0700 hours, SPD ICAC, CRG, and several agencies within the Washington State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant in the East Precinct. The suspect’s roommate was contacted inside the apartment, while the main target was arrested a while he was at work. During the interview of the suspect, He admitted to the offences. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for possession and dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
