Narcotics Dealer Arrested in Capitol Hill, Fentanyl, Meth, and Cash Recovered

Seattle police officers arrested a 34-year-old man and recovered a large amount of narcotics and cash in Capitol Hill Saturday.

On Feb. 15, at about 8:30 p.m., patrol officers were near East Denny Way and Nagel Place in Cal Anderson Park and saw a group of individuals in a high-use drug area engaging in suspected narcotics use.

Police investigated and saw a clear plastic box containing a white powdery substance on the main suspect’s lap, and he was holding a clear baggie. They also found an electronic scale near the suspect, often used when selling narcotics.

Police arrested the primary suspect and released the other individuals. Officers tested the narcotics at the East Precinct, and they were positive for Fentanyl and Methamphetamine.

The patrol officers recovered:

  • 101.9g of Fentanyl
  • 8.5g of Methamphetamine
  • Approx. 100 plastic baggies
  • Electronic scale
  • $655 in cash

The suspect was booked into the King County Jail for Drugs-Synthetic Narcotics, Sale and Delivery.
