
Seattle police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the University District that sent three people to the hospital on Friday, Feb. 21.
Officers responded to the area of Northeast 47th Street and 15th Avenue Northeast at about 1:30 p.m. They found a suspect in a stolen car hit three people in a crosswalk and left the scene. The three people reportedly had life-threatening injuries and were rushed to Harborview Medical Center. According to HMC officials, a 20-year-old woman is in critical condition, a 25-year-old man is in critical condition and a 21-year-old man is in satisfactory condition.
Shortly after the incident, a suspect was found and taken into custody.
The Seattle Police Department’s Traffic Collision Investigation Squad has responded to the scene and is investigating.
