#2025-46952/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0505 hours, units responded to the 14300 Block of Aurora Avenue North for a shots call. A passerby saw multiple people near vehicles arguing in a nearby parking lot before hearing a single gunshot. Officers were unable to locate the people involved and vehicles. No property damage located. 211 was notified.

#2025-46883/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0118 hours, officers responded to the 3200 block of Southwest Avalon Way, where a serious assault was in progress. The suspect was intoxicated and locked outside of his unit, which he shares with the mother of his children. When he gained access to his unit, he saw an unknown male standing near his child’s mother. Assuming something nefarious was afoot, the suspect became enraged and attacked the unknown male. The suspect’s brother and his girlfriend were in the unit at that time and in such fear of their safety that they attempted to leave. However, the interior doorknob had been broken off the door during the assault and they were unable to walk out of the unit. In fear, they jumped from the second story balcony, suffering no injuries. Officers had arrived by this time and saw them jump, detaining them. Unfortunately, the very loud assault was still in progress in the unit upstairs. Officers made their way to the unit, forced entry, and detained the suspect. The victim, very badly injured, provided his account to officers and was treated at the scene by SFD before being transported to HMC. The victim was arrested for Assault 2. He is being treated at HMC at the time of this report while he awaits being booked into KCJ. No officers were injured during this incident.

#2025-47037/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0802 hours, a grocery store atop of Queen Anne called for assistance when a frequent shoplifter entered the store and selected items from the shelves and walked past the point of sales. An employee confronted the male about the items he had concealed under his clothing. The shoplifter punched the employee in the rib and exited the store where he was last observed boarding a King County Metro Bus. Officers located the bus with the suspect on board. He was escorted off the bus. The items were recovered. The employee conducted a show up and positively identified the suspect. The suspect was arrested, transported to King County Jail (KCJ) where he was medically declined. Hospital guard was established for the suspect and will later be booked into KCJ for the Robbery.

#2025-47226/South Precinct/First Watch:

At 1057 hours, officers were dispatched to Hobson Place for a subject making threats towards staff. Upon arrival and after a thorough investigation PC was established for a Hate Crime. The suspect made direct threats to kill towards one of the staff members based on their gender identity. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to KCJ. He was declined and transported to HMC where hospital guard was initiated. 232 was notified of the incident

#2025-47327/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1239 hours, a suspect was confronted by loss prevention staff as he exited the store with unpaid merchandise. The suspect made comments regarding shooting the employees and reached for an item in his pocket. An employee believed that object was shaped like a handgun, no weapon was observed. Officers conducted an area check with negative results. Video evidence was obtained. The incident was screened by the Robbery Unit.

#2025-47358/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1311 hours, a male and female suspect were confronted by loss prevention staff as they exited the store with a hand basket of unpaid merchandise. The male suspect displayed a handgun and made comments regarding shooting the employees. The employees disengaged and called 911. Officers conducted an area check with negative results. Video evidence was obtained. The incident was screened by the Robbery Unit.

#2025-47122/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 0929 hours, a 911 caller reported a male walking around an apartment hallway screaming with a long gun in his hands. Dispatch received additional calls from other residents reporting that the male was attempting to kick in doors to different apartments. Police arrived, established a contact team and began searching for the suspect in the building. HNT, SWAT, 211, PIO, and Car 22 responded to the scene. The suspect was subsequently located in an apartment and was taken into custody without further incident by SWAT. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Investigation of Burglary, VUFA, and Harassment.

#2025-47430/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1300 hours, CRG conducted a narcotics operation in support of the DAT operation at 3 Ave/Pike St. The operation focused on Belltown and 12/Jackson with the intent of arresting dealers displaced by the DAT operation. Four total arrests were made. Two arrests were for VUCSA and two arrests for assault. 18.6 grams of cocaine, 11.5 grams of fentanyl and $265 were recovered as evidence. The assault suspects committed the assault because they believed the victim was collaborating with police to make VUCSA arrests. One of the suspects later threatened officers. A Hazard Report has been completed. Additionally, officers intervened during an overdose and called SFD who provided care to the subject.

#2025-47666/East Precinct/Second Watch:

A planned operation was developed by an officer at a market located in the1000 BLK of Broadway. East Patrol, with the great assistance of GIU, made seven arrests for shoplifting, felony warrants, misdemeanor warrants, and VUCSA. Six suspects were booked into KCJ, with one suspect I &R from HMC.

#2025-47585/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1300 hours, officers from CRG and the West Precinct partnered with King County Sheriff’s Office, Community Service Officers and several other City of Seattle partners on a collaborative Downtown Activation Team operation. Officers on bikes, foot, and in PIUs supported city partners from the Metropolitan Improvement District, SDOT, Parks, and others while they conducted critical work in the downtown core. The operation yielded 11 total arrests, 7 resulting from a high-visibility, proactive patrol in the Pike/Pine Corridor. Police provided security for our City of Seattle partners during their cleaning efforts, as well as a presence at the Convention Center during an actively attended weekend show. These efforts continue to support the restoration efforts of the Downtown Activation Team. Thank you to the KCSO and CSO who assisted us. Captain form West Precinct was on-scene.
