#2025-53413/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1451 hours, the Victim (transgender) was on a King County Metro Bus and exited near 3rd Ave/Blanchard. Two unknown suspects followed victim off bus and began using anti-transgender and homophobic slurs towards the victim and then assaulted the victim. One of the suspects stole the victims cell phone and then both suspects left the location and were not located after an area check. The victim was not seriously injured and sustained scratches to the face. Photos taken of the victim and video footage was collected on-scene that captured the altercation. Bias Crime Coordinator, Public Affairs, Violent Crimes Commander, and Bias Crimes supervisor were notified via alert email. 212 was notified as well.

#2025-43283/Sout Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1252 hours, On February 26, 2025, South patrol officers responded to a call at Rainier Ave S And S. Henderson St for shots fired. Upon arrival officers discovered multiple F.C.C.’s in the middle of the street. After an extensive investigation, Officers discovered a drive-by shooting occurred. From several witness accounts an unknown white SUV fired several shots at two pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. One of the pedestrians returned fire at the white SUV that fled south on Rainier Ave S from S. Henderson ST. The pedestrian that was fired at fled on foot north on Rainier Ave S. An unrelated vehicle driving on Rainier AV S was struck twice by gunfire disabling it. The driver was not injured.

#2025-53763/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At  2205 hours, officers responded to 4747 Universit Way NE to reports of a male shot. Officers arrived and located an adult male with a single GSW to the stomach and provided medical aid until SFD arrived and transported him to HMC in serious but stable condition. GVRU responded to the scene to assist. During the investigation it was discovered this was likely a DV related shooting. DV was notified.

#2025-53289/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1257 hours, South patrol officers responded to call for service at a local Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) housing unit where a staff member reported being chased with a knife by a resident. The suspect was described as being severely in crisis. Upon arrival officers completed a preliminary investigation establishing P.C for felony harassment for a resident inside of the location. Officers then formed a plan to contact and arrest the suspect. Next, officers tried to contact the suspect by intercom to no avail. Contact with the suspect was then attempted by knocking on the front door of the apartment. Due to several different factors, CRT was requested to assist with this investigation. After CRT arrived the investigation progressed to a HNT and SWAT call out. Once on scene, HNT and SWAT methodically assessed the situation which resulted in the suspect being placed safely into custody after several resources were deployed.

#2025-53789/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2307 hours, 2307 hours, 911 received several reports of a group of subjects fighting over a firearm with multiple shots fired near Pike Place Market. Upon arrival, officers detained multiple people and located several FCCs. Pike Place Market security provided video footage showing one of the detained suspects firing multiple shots into the air during a fight with another group. This suspect was taken into custody as was a second subject for an unrelated felony warrant. After extensive video review and an exhaustive search of the area, officers were unable to locate the sloughed firearm. Illegal discharge suspect later declined at KCJ for a likely broken orbital socket sustained in the earlier fight.
