Police Arrest Drug Traffickers, Recover Gun, Multiple Kilos of Drugs, $41K Cash

Seattle police narcotics detectives and the SWAT team arrested a drug trafficker in Montlake Terrace on Monday following two previous arrests of drug traffickers in Everett, WA last month.

On Jan. 24, Seattle police narcotics detectives and the SWAT team arrested a 45-year-old suspect and his 20-year-old accomplice in the 12200 block of 19th Avenue Southeast in Everett’s Silver Lake neighborhood.

Detectives served a search warrant on the residence as part of the arrest operation and recovered:

  • 9,188.1 grams of fentanyl powder
  • 216.4 grams of Cocaine
  • 21.1 grams of Crack cocaine
  • 8.3 grams of Methamphetamine
  • 282.7 grams of Fentanyl pills
  • Over $41K in cash
  • 9mm semi-auto pistol
  • 59.5 grams of Fentanyl
  • Plastic baggies, vacuum seal equipment, rubber bands
  • Digital scales with drug residue

The suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail (SCJ) for violations of the Uniformed Controlled Substances Act for Sale/Delivery of Synthetic Narcotics, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine. The 20-year-old was also booked for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), two milligrams is a lethal dose of Fentanyl. The suspects had over 9.2 kilograms.


The narcotics detectives continued investigating the drug trafficking organization after the initial arrests.

With the assistance of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the DEA; the SWAT team served back-to-back search warrants on Feb. 24 at an apartment building in the 22800 block of Lakeview Drive in Montlake Terrace, WA.

There, Seattle police arrested a 51-year-old drug trafficking suspect in his apartment and located his drug lab inside another apartment where he mixed and packaged the narcotics.

Narcotics detectives recovered:

  • $3,000 cash
  • 2867.6 grams of fentanyl powder
  • 443.6 grams of methamphetamine
  • Packaging materials, stamp press, scales

The approximate street value of the fentanyl is $200,690, and the approximate street value of the meth is $13,290.

The suspect, a convicted felon, was booked into the SCJ for violations of the Uniformed Controlled Substances Act for Sale/Delivery of Synthetic Narcotics and Methamphetamine.

He is expected to be federally prosecuted for his crimes.

According to the Narcotics Unit regarding Monday’s arrest, the case detectives were able to get “the boss” who directed the efforts of those lower-level employees and profited from the illicit drug sales in his managerial role.
