Drug Dealer Arrested in Capitol Hill, Meth, Fentanyl, Suspected Xanax Recovered

Seattle police officers arrested a 32-year-old-drug dealer for multiple crimes and warrants in Capitol Hill last Friday.

On Feb. 28., just after midnight, patrol officers were conducting surveillance near Broadway and East Pike Street, when they identified a drug dealer who was approached by several buyers. The suspect started to leave when he saw a police car, and Officers caught up to him nearby and arrested him.

Police recovered:

  • 20g of suspected Xanax
  • 1.5g of Methamphetamine
  • 8.0g of Fentanyl
  • Digital scales, packaging
  • $683 cash

The suspect also had multiple warrants for Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Theft and Escape, and Criminal Impersonation; and is on Department of Corrections supervision for drug violations and has been issued a King County Superior Court Order for Stay Out of Drug Areas.

He was transported to King County Jail (KCJ) but was medically declined at booking. Police transported him to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) for evaluation, and he was transported back to KCJ after several hours. He was declined booking a second time by KCJ staff and transported back to HMC.

He was booked into KCJ after several more hours of evaluation. Charges include:

  • Sale/Delivery of Drugs – Opium or Derivative
  • Sale/Delivery of Methamphetamine
  • Criminal Impersonation
  • Narcotics violation
  • Criminal Trespass
  • Criminal Attempt
  • Unlawful use of Weapons
  • Arrest Warrants

Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are assigned to this case.
