#2025-64432/North Precinct/First Watch:

At 0453 hours, several callers reported hearing 7-8 gunshots in the 8200 block of Greenwood Ave N. A loud disturbance was also heard, with two vehicles and people on foot fleeing the scene. An occupied residence with 8 bullet impacts was located. Several people had been in the home at the time of the shooting, including a young juvenile. The occupants met the male suspect, previously unknown to them, and a few female acquaintances of his at a local club. After inviting them back to their home to continue the party, the suspect beat one of his female guests until she lost consciousness. The residents told the male and his female companions to leave, and the male fired 8 rounds through their living room windows in retaliation before fleeing the scene. No one was injured. GVRU notified.

#2025-64926/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1554 hours, Officers were doing a proactive patrol in the area of 12 AV S and S King ST. As they were in the area, they on-viewed a suspect brandishing a knife. The area was crowded with people. The suspect was moving around the street with the knife in hand. The suspect eventually started moving directly at Officers while still holding the knife. The suspect got within several feet of the Officers when he was pepper sprayed. He reacted immediately to the pepper spray application and dropped the knife. He was taken into custody. The suspect was arrested for Assault. He was declined at the jail for medical reasons and is currently at HMC with Hospital Guard. A Type II Use of Force investigation was initiated.

#2025-65130/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1936 hours, officers were dispatched to a police facility on the 600 blk of 5 AV for a male suspect actively breaking a widow with a scooter. King County Jail was also reporting the same incident. A suspect they just released was at the police station kicking the front door. This was observed via a KCJ video camera. The suspect was arrested at the location without incident and reported (post Miranda) he purposely broke the large windows at the station to get police attention. The suspect was transported and booked into KCJ for felony Malicious Mischief (same crime he was booked for yesterday). 212 responded to the scene.

#2025-65205/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2019 hours, officers responded to the Safeway at 3820 Rainier Ave S to a report of a male shot. Officers arrived and located an adult male with a single GSW to the leg and provided medical aid until SFD arrived and transported him to HMC in serious but stable condition. During their investigation, officers learned the shooting occurred after a disturbance between the occupants of two vehicles parked in the parking lot. During the altercation, the suspect produced a firearm and fired one shot, striking the victim. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving. A firearm and additional evidence were collected at the scene. GVRU responded to the scene to assist.

#2025-65149/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1900 hours, West Precinct Officers along with SPD Narcotics conducted a narcotics operation in the Belltown and Little Saigon neighborhoods. The operation yielded: 10 arrests, 259.5 grams of narcotics, over $1900.00 dollars seized, a firearm with an obliterated serial number and three felony warrants. SPD Narcotics will be conducting the follow up.
