2025-76278/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2230 hours, officers responded to the 500 block of 15 Av E to investigate a report of an assault. Officers arrived and spoke with the RP and learned that they didn’t want to report an assault but rather just have the suspect trespassed from the establishment. The suspect who was identified walked across the street to another establishment. Officers spoke with an employee at the new location, and they wanted the suspect to be trespassed and removed. Officers contacted the suspect, and the suspect willingly left. Outside of the establishment the suspect became verbally aggressive towards the officers, and they remained because the suspect was lingering. After much patience exhibited by the officers, it looked as though the suspect was about to leave and move on but made the decision to assault an officer. The suspect was arrested and booked into KCJ for assault 3. No officer was injured in the incident.
