#2025-78262/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 2157 hours,  North Patrol Officers responded to a complainant of arson from a school in the city of Seattle. Officers discovered that last night a fire had been set that caused significant damage to an exterior wall of the school. The ABS Unit was notified.

#2025-78668/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1504 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery call located on the 1200 block of 1 AV. Victim reported a suspect approached him few minutes ago. The suspect had a gun and demanded his money, the victim complied and gave him his cash. The incident was captured on video surveillance. Officer conducted an area check and was unable to locate the suspect in the area. Victim was not injured.

#2025-76752/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1202 hours, Officers received a call of a bomb threat at the Federal Building in downtown. Officers and a Sergeant responded to the scene. They made contact with onsite security. An FPS Officer contacted the Officers by phone. SPD conducted a visual sweep of the exterior of the building. Nothing suspicious was located. FPS and onsite security made the decision to evacuate the building. A request for an on-duty ABS dog was made however none was available. SPD completed a report of the incident. This incident was screened with on-duty LT, who screened it with ABS.

#2025-78446/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 1101 hours, Officers responded to 2 Ave S / S Jackson St regarding a weapons call. It was determined that the suspect left the area southbound after making threats to kill with a knife while using bias language. The victim believed that the actions and threats were fueled by his hatred towards the LGBTQ+ community. The suspect was located a few blocks away and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Hate Crime. The knife was recovered.

#2025-78984/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2052 hours, the victim was playing football with other juveniles at the 7500 BLK of 35 Ave SW. (All parties involved are juveniles.) The suspect walked up and pointed a firearm at the victim’s face and the victim was afraid for his safety. The suspect got inside a car and left the area. The victim stated that the suspect pointed a gun at him because he heard that he was talking stuff about a juvenile who was shot at Chief Sealth HS last year. All individuals involved attend Chief Sealth H.S. The suspect’s firearm had an extended clip, and video was retrieved that showed the incident. The suspect wasn’t located, and his full name is unknown at this time.

#2025-78977/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2046 hours, SW Patrol responded to DESC for a dispute between neighbors where a firearm was brandished. Responding Officers developed probable cause for Felony Harassment-Threats with firearm. During the investigation Officers discovered the suspect was inside his apartment along with the protected person in a DV no contact order in which he was the respondent. Contact with the suspect was made and he refused to exit the unit. Officers contained the unit and petitioned for a search warrant. The suspect stopped responding to Officers and HNT responded to reestablish dialogue. SWAT was notified of the incident and was in the process of mobilizing when HNT convinced the suspect to surrender. The suspect was taken into custody with no further incident and booked for Inv of Harassment, FVNCO and a warrant. During the search of the apartment Officers recovered 3 realistic looking replica handguns as evidence. The protected person in the court order was discovered inside the unit, unharmed, hiding inside of a suitcase under a pile of furniture. 253, 271 and HNT1 were all on scene.
