#2025-088350/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0213 hours, Pike Place Market Security called to report five shots heard in the vicinity of the market. Arriving officers located a vehicle and a business window that sustained bullet damage and two uninjured subjects who had been shot at. The investigation revealed the shooting was the result of a dispute between two groups of men over several women who had been in a nearby bar. Evidence was recovered and the suspects remain unidentified at this time. Incident screened with GVRU.

#2025-088923/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1520 hours, a witness called 911 to report overhearing three individuals talking about shooting up a dispensary. The witness also described seeing a rifle and handguns in the suspects possession. Officers came into the area and with a detailed description of the suspects and the vehicle they were driving located them and stopped in the 1000 block of 1 Ave S. Three individuals were detained from the vehicle and a rifle could be seen in the front passenger seat. GVRU responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. One of the suspects was booked into KCJ on firearm charges, the other two were identified and released from the scene with the vehicle being towed. GVRU will handle follow-up.

#2025-088866/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1421 hours, officers responded to the location reference a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a victim with multiple stab wounds to his upper torso. The suspect had fled from the scene and was not located. The victim was uncooperative with officers and did not provide details with reference to the incident. Victim was transported to HMC by SFD with life-threatening injuries but was later updated to “stable” after being treated at HMC. A possible suspect was detained but released after further investigation. The scene was processed by West Patrol.  

#2025-089181/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1854 hours, officers received a call from a maintenance worker that a suspect had returned to the address. Officers arrived on scene and heard the suspect from outside the door. Additional units were called to the scene and contained the suspect inside the apartment until a search warrant was signed and approved. SWAT and HNT arrived and assisted in taking the suspect into custody w/o incident.

#2025-089236/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2056 hours, officers responded to a report of threats at a supermarket. Security heard a male yelling out in front of the store and went to investigate. Security contacted the male suspect to which the suspect told store security that he was going to kill him and everyone in the store. The suspect stated he had a knife, and security asked the suspect if he did have a knife. The suspect lifted his shirt as though he did, but no knife was brandished or scene. The Suspect used racially charged language towards security when the threats were made. The suspect was placed under arrest for Hate Crime and booked into KCJ.
