#2025-090416/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0001 hours, officers responded to reports of a street takeover near the intersection of Clay Street/3rd Avenue. Additional updates noted possible shots fired. Officers arrived but all parties and vehicles involved had fled the scene. Officers located two units of a nearby apartment building with bullet damage to the windows. Evidence was recovered from the scene. GVRU was notified of the incident.     

#2025-090787/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1239 hours, officers were dispatched to a bar in the International District. A male had been pepper sprayed by staff at a Bar. An investigation determined the male, who had been sprayed, had threatened staff before being sprayed. Officers located the suspect, and he was placed into custody. While moving him to the rear of the patrol vehicle, the suspect turned and assaulted the Sergeant. After reviewing video footage, it was determined the suspect had also swiped at the barkeep with a knife during the incident. He was arrested for Assault 2 and Assault 3 and booked into King County Jail.     

#2025-090931/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1548 hours, a PEO aired on radio that a subject was brandishing a rifle causing significant alarm to surrounding citizens. A CRG unit along with patrol contacted the subject after a brief foot pursuit. It was discovered that the subject had a long piece of black metal that gave the appearance of a rifle. The subject was sent to the hospital for ITA.  

#2025-091338/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2025 hours, East precinct patrol officers were sent to a shots call with multiple callers in the area of Rainier Avenue South/South Weller Street. Upon officers’ arrival, they located evidence on South Weller Street, east of Rainier Avenue South. Officers also located multiple vehicles with bullet damage including a metro bus. No victims or reports of injuries were located. Witnesses in the area informed officers that all involved subjects had fled the area in vehicles. Officers processed the scene. The Incident was screened with GVRU.
