
Seattle police are investigating a shooting near the 4700 block of 19th Avenue Northeast shortly before 2 a.m. this morning.
Police arrived and located the victim, uninjured. He reported to SPD that he interrupted a car prowl to a vehicle, confronting multiple suspects. During the altercation, they attempted to fire their weapon, but it jammed.
The suspects left the immediate area, circled the block, and fired off multiple shots from their gun. The victim remained uninjured.
Police received an additional 911 call reporting bullet damage to the second-story window of a nearby sorority house. None of the residents reported any injuries.
Officers processed the shooting scene, yet they did not locate the suspects, and no arrests were made. This remains an on-going investigation.
