#2025-105244/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2136 hours, Officers responded of Shots in the area of 56th Ave SW / Alki Ave SW. Callers reported that they heard 6-8 shots in the area. One caller stated he observed a male hide behind a vehicle and fire at a passing vehicle. There was no reported victims and no property damage. Officers located four shell casings in the area.

#2025-105678/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1541 hours, East Precinct Officers made a felony assault warrant arrest in the 400 block of 10 Ave. During the arrest 2 staff members of the apartment complex location were with the officers. The arrested suspect made threats to come back after being released from jail and kill the 2 staff members. The suspect used racial and biased language specific to each employee. The 2 staff members stated they believed the suspect would come back and assault them and that the threats were based on their racial and sexual characteristics. Additional charges of malicious harassment were added. LT screened this incident. An alert email was sent to the bias coordinator.

#2025-105849/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2014 hours, Officers were dispatched to the listed location for Shots heard. Callers stated the shots came from the area of 30th Ave SW / SW Brandon St. The callers stated the heard 10-15 shots. Different reporting parties stated they saw someone run away on foot and a vehicle leave the area. Officers responded and located 11 shell casings. There was no property damage or injuries. The casings were collected and placed into evidence.

#2025-105802/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1928 hours, Officers were dispatched to a disturbance incident outside the Frye Hotel on 223 Yesler Wy, involving two males having in a disturbance. Updates from dispatch noted that this disturbance had escalated with both male subjects displaying handguns although not brandished at onlookers in the area. Officers promptly responded to the scene and upon safe approach, detained multiple subjects for further investigation. The first possible suspect was detained based on a matching description noted on the CAD, whilst a second possible subject was detained on the northwest corner of the King County Court house park. Officers from the initial scene conducted a thorough investigation and with the assistance of staff at the shelter as well as surveillance footage, were able to exculpate the first suspect whilst the second subject was also released from detention based on surveillance footage provided by the courthouse personnel. Officers along with KCSO deputies conducted a thorough area check of the vicinity but were unable to locate any firearms. Public order was restored, and officers cleared from the scene after the investigation. Records check on complainant later revealed a similar call made in 2024 with similar details. Both incidents were reviewed and linked for further investigation.
