Seattle police are investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot during a lowrider car show in SODO this evening.
At about 10:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to reports of a person shot in the 2400 block of 4th Avenue South. Police arrived and located a victim with a gunshot wound in his upper thigh. Officers provided him medical aid, and according to the Sergeant, they “did an outstanding job stopping the bleeding.”
The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and continued medical treatment. SFD medics transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.
Officers did not locate any evidence, and no information is known about the suspect(s). The circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by detectives.
