#2025-194915/East Precinct/Second Watch/E2:
At 1615 hours, officers responded to a physical fight call in the 1000 block of E Pine St for a man pulling windshield wipers off cars and another person fighting them with a tire iron. Officers arrived and contacted both parties who were no longer fighting or holding weapons. While interviewing both parties one party suddenly assaulted an officer. They were placed under arrest for investigation of assault and property damage. The officer did not require medical care.
#2025-195010/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W1:
At 1910 hours, a male was driving a rental at the 1600 BLK of Harbor Ave SW. The vehicle had mechanical issues and sped up. The driver pulled up the emergency brake when it sped up, but there were issues with that too. The driver struck a vehicle, METRO pole, and another vehicle. The vehicle pushed a vehicle up against an apartment building. SFST tests were conducted and the PBT was used, and the driver didn’t show signs of impairment. A collision report was completed, and there was evidence of mechanical issues on the vehicle.
#2025-195264/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W2:
At 2258 hours, the victim stated that he was sitting at the bus stop located at the 4400 block of 35 AV SW when he was approached by an unknown male that asked him for money. The victim told the suspect no. The suspect sprayed the victim with bear spray and left the scene. The victim stated that he had a $20.00 bill in his pocket prior to the incident. The $20.00 bill wasn’t located in his pockets. The victim was transported to the hospital. The area checked clear for the suspect.
#2025-194910/West Precinct/Second Watch/W2:
At 1718 hours, the victim was driving southbound on 4th Ave S with her driver’s side window open. As she neared the intersection of 4th Ave S and S Jackson St, occupants of the victim’s vehicle heard a slap sound. The victim felt pain on the left side of her face and pulled over. SFD responded and thought that the victim was most likely hit in the face with a small rock kicked up from traffic. A small rock was located on the floorboard of the victim’s vehicle. The victim went to the hospital and a pellet was discovered lodged in her cheek bone.
