At 0010 hours, victims were fishing at the 1600 BLK of Harbor Ave SW. The suspect walked up the victims unprovoked, started cursing at them and for them to speak their language in their own country. The suspect told the victims that they need to go back to their country, and that he is done with them. The suspect threatened to throw them in the water. The victims were scared, and another victim heard the threats and cursing. The fourth victim pulled out his phone to call 911, and the suspect forcefully took the victim’s new cell phone and threw it in the water. The suspect then pushed the victim and attempted to punch him. The suspect was then taken to the ground and held down until police arrived. Officers saw video footage of the crimes. The suspect was arrested and booked at KCJ for Hate Crimes and Robbery 2. 253 and a PIO was notified about the incident.
#2025-207312/West Precinct/Third Watch/D1:
At 1400 hours, proactive Belltown officers observed the suspect selling narcotics. Once they made contact, he briefly fled before being taken into custody without incident. Officers found 6.8 grams of fentanyl, 7.9 grams of crack cocaine and over $600 dollars. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
