Seattle police officers arrested a 27-year-old man, armed with a gun, for selling drugs in Downtown Seattle last night.
On Aug. 13 at about 7:50 p.m., patrol officers near 3rd Avenue and Pine Street saw a man accept money in exchange for narcotics.
According to the police report, the suspect “removed what appeared to be a small clear baggie containing suspected white powdered narcotics from his right-side pocket and hand it to the female subject.”
The suspect walked away from the area and officers quickly apprehended him. When being arrested, the suspect denied having a gun on him.
Police recovered:
- Handgun
- $295 cash
- 0.6g Fentanyl
- Scale, plastic baggies
Officers booked the suspect into the King County Jail for Sale and Delivery of Synthetic Narcotics and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are assigned to this case.
