At 1858 hours, 911 callers reported an armed robbery at the Rainier Beach liquor store. A caller reported that the suspect attempted to shoplift and was prevented from doing so. The suspect then returned a few minutes later, implied a weapon, threatened to shoot staff, and stole two bottles of liquor. Officers located the suspect 2 blocks away at a bus stop and took the suspect into custody. The juvenile suspect was booked into YSC.
