#2025-279295/West Precinct/First Watch/Q3:
At 0830 hours, 2 subjects who are friends got into an argument. Suspect began assaulting victim with a cane. When Victim fell down, suspect produced a knife and slashed the victim in his hand. Non-life-threatening injury. Suspect fled on foot when he saw the victim call 911. Suspect was not located. Victim declined to be transported to the hospital.
#2025-279835/East Precinct/Second Watch/C3:
At 1630 hours, about 8 pro-Palestine individuals arrived at Chuck’s Hop Shop near 20 Ave/E Union St while the business was open. The protestors entered the business to verbally confront the owner. The owner demanded they leave but they initially refused, and he called 911. Officers and 242 (POET1) responded and spoke to a protestor liaison and the business owner. By the time officers arrived, all parties we separated, and the protestors were on the sidewalk engaged in verbal chants. POET established ground rules of no trespassing, property damage or assaults and the group agreed. POET met with the owner and explained SPD and POETs response. Less than an hour of chanting, the protestors left, and no further actions was necessary.
#2025-279954/West Precinct/Second Watch/D1:
At 1920 hours, Belltown Emphasis Units were conducting proactive crime prevention in the 50 BLK of Vine St when they observed the suspect drinking from an open container of alcohol. Officers conducted a records check of the suspect locating an SPD felony warrant for his arrest. Officers moved in to effect an arrest when the suspect attempted to flee and began resisting arrest, injuring an officer in the process. A city-wide HELP the officer was called during the struggle. Officers were able to get the suspect into custody. SFD responded to the scene to treat the officer with the officer going to the hospital for further medical evaluation. Suspect booked into KCJ for two counts of Assault 3 and his felony warrant. 212 responded to the scene and a hazard was completed for the suspect.
#2025-279767/North Precinct/Third Watch/N2:
At 1900 hours, SPD VICE conducted a UC Operation in the 10000 Block of Aurora AVE N with the assistance of North Precinct officers. 5 arrests were made for prostitution related offences. One of the suspects had a large quantity of narcotics on his person and in his vehicle. All 5 suspects were booked into the King County Jail.
#2025-280149/South Precinct/Third Watch/R1:
At 2224 hours, calls came into 911 regarding shots having been heard in the area near the 4100 BLK of Cheasty BV S. Officers found multiple shell casings and one unspent round at 24 PL S and Cheasty BV S. There was no damage, and no victims were found. The scene was processed by patrol and GVRU was notified via email.
