At 0956 hours, while conducting proactive patrol in the Pike/Pine Corridor, officers contacted a suspect smoking narcotics in a parking lot. The subsequent arrest resulted in 27.2g meth and 1.3g fentanyl recovered and $27 seized.

At 1923 hours, following a festive competition involving pumpkins within a drinking establishment in the 100 block of Roy St, a suspect smashed a pumpkin which caused a disturbance. As the suspect left the business they were followed by multiple patrons. The disturbance escalated when the suspect brandished a firearm and threatened the others. The suspect then discharged a single round into the ground before continuing his threats and fleeing on foot. No damage or injuries resulted. An area check was negative. GVRU screened.
