At 0117 hours, just after 1am, a caller reported her partner had strangled her and stomped on her head. Officer arrived, located the victim, and attempted contact with the male suspect. The suspect is also the respondent in a no-contact order with the victim. The suspect fled into the apartment and did not respond to attempts to hail him. HNT responded, and attempted contact. Officers wrote a warrant and served it, taking the suspect into custody. 253 and 271 on scene.
#2025-326221/East Precinct/Second Watch/G1:
At 1541 hours, officers responded to a robbery call at a local restaurant located at the intersection of 12th Avenue and East Cherry Street. The victim reported that while she was inside the restaurant, a suspect entered and stole her cell phone, which was plugged into the wall. Restaurant employees witnessed the theft and confronted the suspect, who then forcefully pushed one of the employees away. Officers were able to locate the suspect and positively identified them through a field show-up. The suspect was placed into custody and later booked into the King County Jail for robbery.
