#2025-351815/North Precinct/First Watch/U1:
At 0835 hours, approx. 30 minutes before the start of school, it was reported that a current student via text to another student, stated he was having thoughts of killing people at the school and people he thought were his friends. The school called the parents and had them keep the subject home. Officers, CRT and a MHP responded to the home to speak with the parents and student. There are weapons in the home, but parents stated the subject does not have access to them. After speaking to the subject, a decision was made to send the student to the hospital on an ITA. CRT and MHP will conduct more follow up on this matter. 221 was notified of the call, the updates and the end result.
#2025-351897/Southwest Precinct/First Watch/W2:
At 1006 hours, Officers responded to a DV shooting call in the area of the 4500 block of 42 Av SW. Officers arrived to find that shots had been fired inside an apartment unit during a DV disturbance. There have been on going DV issues with the occupants. During an argument this morning, the suspect threatened to shoot the victims. They produced a handgun and did fire at the victims. During the investigation, Officers found and contacted the suspect outside the address and took them into custody without incident. The suspect denied having a firearm despite there being video to suggest otherwise. A KCSO K9 responded for a search for the firearm. The firearm was found by a maintenance person. The firearm was recovered and submitted to evidence. The incident was screened with DV and the suspect booked for felony DV assault. Unit 251 and Car 25 notified.
#2025-352336/East Precinct/Second Watch/G3:
At 1723 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a person stating they were robbed and shot at by unknown suspects. The caller hung up and did not answer on multiple call backs from dispatch. While officers were in route to the location, dispatch received a second caller in the same area reported that a young male ran across the street in front of his vehicle as he was driving Southbound, and he struck the subject. The subject got up and ran away from the location. Officers arrived and spoke to several witnesses and located security footage from a nearby home. Officers determined that the vehicle was traveling Northbound with several occupants. For reasons unknown, the occupants of the vehicle began to shoot at several young subjects walking Southbound, striking an uninvolved vehicle parked on the street before fleeing Northbound. The subjects that were being shot at, fled across the street, where one of the males was stuck by the second reporting caller as he drove Southbound. At the time of this report, we have not had any contact with the caller that stated he was robbed, and there does not appear to be a robbery that took place. Officers recovered several 9mm casings. GVRU was notified.

At 2347 hours, victim was standing in line and suspect started using bias slurs towards the victim and then spat on the victim multiple times. Suspect was not located. Notifications sent out.
