#2026-12946/West Precinct/Second Watch/D2:
At 1155 hours, officers were dispatched to a shots call at the intersection at Fairview Av N / Denny Wy. Officers arrived on scene and found a driver with one gunshot wound (GSW) to their back and several bullet holes in their vehicle. Officers immediately provided aid to stabilize the GSW victim while waiting for SFD to arrive. The driver reported that they were involved in a road-rage shooting incident while they were driving N/B on I-5 just south of the West Seattle Bridge. The driver admitted to exchanging gunfire with the other vehicle and fired several shots as well. WSP was informed of the incident and responded to the scene where they assumed jurisdiction of the investigation and seized the vehicle involved. The victim was in stable condition undergoing surgery at HMC upon the arrival of WSP Detectives arrival. Car21 and Media notified.
#2026-12938/East Precinct/Second Watch/G1:
At 1144 hours, a gun-shot victim walked into Harborview for care. The victim was uncooperative with Officer’s questions and did not provide any information related to the circumstances of the incident. Multiple subjects that arrived with the victim were questioned as well. No further information for the event is available at this time. GVRU and 242 were notified.
